मुंबई। रैपर, म्यूजिक प्रोड्यूसर, सिंगर और फिल्म एक्टर यो यो हनी सिंह के फैन्स के लिए अच्छी खबर है। हाल ही में हनी सिंह को मुंबई के एक इवेंट में देखा गया। वह पिछले काफी समय से कहीं नजर नहीं आ रहे थे। इस बीच यह भी सुनने को मिला कि वह चंडीगढ़ के रिहैबिलिटेशन सेंटर में अपना इलाज करा रहे हैं।

लेकिन अब ऐसा लग रहा है कि हनी सिंह काम पर लौट आए हैं। वह इस इवेंट में ठीक-ठाक दिखाई दे रहे थे। इससे लगता है कि वह जल्द ही अपने फैन्स के लिए कोई बढि़या गाना लेकर आएंगे। 

वैसे बता दें कि इंडस्ट्री से 'गायब' होने से पहले वह रितिक रोशन और सोनम कपूर पर फिल्माए गए वीडियो सॉन्ग 'धीरे धीरे' में सुनाई दिए थे। सूत्रों की मानें तो हनी सिंह मार्च में अपना नया सॉन्ग लेकर आ सकते हैं।

मीडिया रिपोर्टों के मुताबिक, पंजाबी सिंगर जसबीर जस्सी ने बताया कि वह हनी सिंह एक रिहैबिलिटेशन सेंटर में मिले थे। खबर ये भी आईं कि हनी सिंह ड्रग एडिक्शन के कारण चंडीगढ़ के रिहैबिलिटेशन सेंटर में इलाज करा रहे हैं। जसबीर ने बताया था कि हनी सिंह बहुत बीमार है। जब मैं उससे रिहैब में मिला था तो मुझे बहुत दुख हुआ था। बिल्कुल अजीब सा हो गया था। हालांकि, उसके मैनेजर ने मुझे बताया था कि उसकी रिकवरी अच्छी हो रही है।

Yo Yo Honey Singh’s ‘Dheere dheere se meri zindagi’ crosses 100 million hits on YouTube

“Dheere dheere se meri zindagi”, a romantic single recreated and sung by rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and featuring actors Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor, has crossed the 100-million-mark on YouTube.The video was published on September 1 from the official T-Series channel on the online platform. It is a recreated version of the popular song “Dheere dheere” from 1990 film “Aashiqui”.

“We are super excited about ‘Dheere dheere…’ having reached 100 million views. It’s the first time ever that a Hindi single song has reached this number which no Bollywood song also has been able to achieve,” T-Series head Bhushan Kumar said in a statement.

“We at T-Series have pioneered many new trends in music from the inception and I am happy that once again, we have created a whole new market for music in India,” he added.

Hrithik and Sonam’s sizzling chemistry in the video is one reason why people are loving the song, which is also quite catchy in itself.

YouTube Rewind (India) 2015: AIB, Honey Singh, and Other List Toppers

Google, like last year has revealed its YouTube top trending videos list of 2015 for India. Apart from revealing the trending videos for the country, the YouTube team also revealed global hits.

From the list of trending videoson the YouTube Rewind (India) Channel, the top trending Indian music video of 2015 is Dheere Dheere Se Meri Zindagi, which features Bollywood actor Hritik Roshan and is sung by Honey Singh. The video has been viewed nearly 90 million times. Other music videos following Dheere Dheere Se Meri Zindagi are Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, DJ Wale Babu, and Me Hu Hero Tera. Ellie Goulding's Love Me Like You Do music video also made it to the top trending music videos in India.

Honey Singh, who is missing from the scene for almost a year, is now getting his bearings back. He has started composing music again.

While Yo Yo continues to rest and spend time with his family in New Delhi, he has been spending more and more time in the studios.

His recently released single, Dheere Dheere Se starring Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor, has put him back in circulation.

Though there has been a lot of buzz about the reason for the singer-composer’s absence, he prefers to keep mum for now.

Yo Yo Honey Singh’s Remake of ‘Dheere Dheere’ Goes Viral

Time for a throwback: the date is July 23, 1990 and Mahesh Bhatt’s romantic drama “Aashiqui” has just hit theaters across India. Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal play their namesakes in the movie, and “Aashiqui” is the story of the ups and down of their pyaar ki kahaani.

The movie was a phenomenal box-office success, almost entirely in part thanks to the soundtrack. After an almost unbearable 10 or so years without a single decent Bollywood soundtrack, listeners across the world were shocked by the melodious songs in the “Aashiqui” soundtrack.  Playback singers Anuradha Paudwal and Kumar Sanu, along with music directors Nadeem-Shravan and lyricist Sameer, all won Filmfare awards for their work.

Now, 25 years since the release of this mega hit soundtrack, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh chose to pay tribute to Gulshan Kumar, the founder of the T-Series music label and one of the producers of “Aashiqui,” by recreating the classic “Dheere Dheere.”

Singh keeps the main refrain from the original song, but much of the rest is distinctly different and strongly influenced by his personal style. Since the music video’s release on YouTube on September 1, it has already gotten more than 20 million views.

This success is largely thanks to the glamorous cinematography in Turkey along with the impressive onscreen presence of both Sonam Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. Some people love Singh’s version of “Dheere Dheere,” while others hate it—decide for yourself and watch this video ASAP if you have not seen it yet!

Dheere Dheere Se, the much-awaited song by Yo Yo Honey Singh that stars Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor, has been released. The track was supposed to be out on September 1, but it has been made available on Hotstar on August 31.

The song has been picturised in Antalya, Turkey. It's not an usual Honey Singh song, it's a bit hatke. The song chosen is from the 1990 film Aashiqui, and is a tribute to late producer Gulshan Kumar. Watch the original song:

In Honey Singh's version of the song, Hrithik and Sonam recreate the aashiqui. The song revolves around the story of a boy who is trying to impress a girl. Hrithik's dance moves might attract the viewers to the song. The 42-year-old actor took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the song.

Hrithik Roshan to feature in Honey Singh's next single as an ode toGulshan Kumar

Bhushan Kumar who is keen on bringing back the phenomenon of Indie music is glad to announce his next which is most close to his heart. We are talking about his next single by Yo Yo Honey Singh which is the singer-composer's tribute to Bhushan Kumar's father Shri Gulshan Kumar. Honey Singh who has huge respect for Shri Gulshan Kumar has recreated his memorable cult song 'Dheere Dheere Se' from Aashiqui and revised the lyrics for the new track. A love song by one of the country's most popular artist definitely needs a face who has stolen the audiences' hearts and that's when instantly Bhushan finalized on the Greek God of Hindi film industry Hrithik Roshan. Bhushan Kumar is grateful that both these two superstars Hrithik Roshan and Yo Yo Honey Singh did this and that too, without charging a single penny.

Bhushan Kumar is enthusiastic about recreating his father's most romantic track 'Dheere Dheere Se' of the cult film Aashiqui. Bhushan says, "I was just 12 then in 1990, when I was mad about the music of Salman Khan's Maine Pyar Kiya. In those days, the trend was to release film music months in advance and so, Aashiqui music too was released four months before the release of the film. Since my father Gulshan Kumar had produced the film, we had access to the music much before it was in the market. I remember whenever I went with papa in his car; I would take my favourite cassette and play it. So I started playing Maine Pyar Kiya that was not our music, but of a competitor. Papa gave me the Aashiqui cassette and told me, `Listen to this. This is from our film.' I started hearing it and till today, that album remains on my playlist. I remember him telling me that his most favourite song ever was `Dheere Dheere Se'. Papa died in 1997. When Yo Yo Honey Singh met me for the first time, he told me how he respected my father so much and he had dreamt of one day working with him. He had read somewhere that`Dheere Dheere Se' was my father's favourite song and said that he wanted to recreate it for him and that too for free, even though he otherwise charges a huge amount. He started the work but then fell ill last year. During his illness, I met him three times at his house. I met him first time, then second time during my sister's wedding, but it was on my third visit only, when Honey was feeling much better and had started composing again, that I asked him if he felt comfortable to finish the song, as I wanted to pay a tribute to my father as Aashiqui completes 25 years. And Honey completed the song. I then went to Hrithik Roshan, who was my first choice to dance on the single. I made him listen to the song without telling him the purpose for which I was making it. He loved it, but didn't see the reason why he should dance to an old recreated song, given that Hrithik has never ever been part of a single song video. I then told Hrithik my reasons for making it and within a second he said,`I am doing it for Gulshanji. That will be my only reason to dance to it.'" 

While Hrithik and Yo Yo Honey Singh are both doing it for free, Bhushan is doing it only for emotional reasons and he is clear that there is no money to be made on this. If he lands up making any, it would have to go to charity for sure. Bhushan Kumar who credits his and T-Series' identity and growth to his father's dream is keen to launch the new song soon. 

Hrithik Roshan will be shooting for the song in Turkey for the next two days.
