Yo Yo Honey Singh Makes Debut In New Movie, ‘Zorawar,’ High Heels’ Singer Makes Twitter Announcement

Yo Yo Honey Singh has become one of the most popular artists in the Bollywood industry that actors love to partner up with for song collaborations. After creating hits with Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumer and many others, it looks like he is taking his turn in acting. Singh will be making a comeback on the big screen in his debut movie “Zorawar” as the lead protagonist.

“Boarded for Bombay to shoot my first solo punjabi movie ‘Zorawar’ #raatjashandi #yyhs #yoyohoneysingh,”tweeted Singh along with a photo of himself on the plane.

Singh will reportedly be playing an agent in the movie.

The last we heard about Singh was when he created the song “Aao Raja” for Akshay Kumar’s film “Gabbar Is Back,” which also features Chitrangada Singh. Not only does the Punjabi rapper sing in the theme song, but it also features Neha Kakkar in vocals as well.

“Gabbar is Back,” which is a remake of 2002 Tamil film “Ramanna,” is about a man’s fight against corruption and how he turns his individual battle into a collective one. The film, which also features Shruti Haasan, has hit theaters on May 1.

Honey Singh recently took a step from collaborating with Bollywood stars and created a hit of his own called “One Bottle Down.”

The song, which is featured on the singer’s upcoming album backed by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, released earlier in March.

“Yo Yo is really fun to work with. Our association has grown stronger over the period of time. His songs have always created a stir in the market,” said Kumar about Singh to Bollywood Hungama. “His fans all over are waiting for his next song and ‘One Bottle Down’ is a feet thumping party number which will bowl them over. Yo Yo gave me the final track in few days and the song will be his yet another top chartbuster. It’s a great single and will do wonders.”
